MY STORY

Every piece tells a story

As a child, I absolutely adored stained glass. Every Sunday morning, I'd sit in church, mesmerized by the complexity and beauty of the colored windows around me. I was fascinated by the way the light beamed through each piece, creating a masterpiece right in front of my eyes. "Someday, I will learn how to do that," I would tell my young self.

After years of studying and building my own collection, I finally succumbed to the allure of that spectrum of light. I dove in headfirst, creating and refining stained glass art pieces myself.

To me, it's not just about the intricacy of the glass; it's about the story each piece represents. Behind every design, there's a moment of joy, a special memory, or an inspiration of peace and wonder – something that offers onlookers life and hope, or maybe even pride or simple curiosity.

My art has been featured in juried art shows at Trumbull Art Gallery and Medici Art Gallery in Warren, Ohio, as well as at the YWCA Women and Family Art Shows in Youngstown, Ohio.

I teach private classes and workshops at my studio, Beacon Hues Glass, in Mantua, Ohio, and I'm an instructor at the master craftsman’s J Leonard Gallery and Vintage Emporium in Garrettsville, Ohio.
